"W-what are you doing?!" I shouted as the woman grew uncomfortably close, her clouded grey eyes boring into mine.
"I'm just doing what the fortune cookie said. Who am I to stand in the way of fate?" she answered whilst bending down.
"Isn't this unconventional? Especially in public?" I spat as I blushed, taking note of the ongoing masses of shoppers.
This is the story of Louise and Laurie, their relationship, a spilled coffee and a nonexistent fortune cookie.

There was something different about this coffee shop. I had been coming here for eight years and I just couldn't find myself ever losing interest in it. I just kept coming back.
Whether it was to enjoy their delicious drinks and treats or just to relax and think. Or maybe it was just to enjoy and admire the flamboyant woman behind the counter.
