After a tragic accident with the Green family, Diana, the last living Green, packed up her small bags and went off to live with her new family on her eleventh birthday with no idea about the events that would soon take place and take her life down a completely different path.
Sir Reginald Hargreeves was a very wealthy man with a brilliant mind that was always so very curious, so when 43 women across the world gave birth to children, though they showed no signs of pregnancy the day before, Sir Reginald's thoughts were racing about these newborns. He knew they were different- special even- so he immediately got to work on his master plan; he was going to adopt- something he thought he would never do, and train these kids to become his own young prodigy's. After successfully collecting seven of these infants and making a deal with another family, the umbrella academy was born.

And she was the only one that could make him act kind and soft. They never did anything without the other, expect when Five leaves one day without Maddie and never comes back. But when Five disappeared, he took half of her soul with him. She was never the same. Everything changed for her and half of her body got empty. The only thing that kept Five going when he was gone was the thought of seeing Maddie again. On the first day of October 1989, forty-three women around the world simultaneously gave birth. None of the women showed any prior signs of pregnancy. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, made it his personal mission to find and adopt as many of these children as possible. He got eight of them with that one set of twins that maybe came from the same mother but in appearance, they were as different as anyone could be. Number Four and Number Eight...often used as the main subjects of experiments when it came to power. Sir Hargreeves' main focus was however on the young Number Eight which eventually led to the girl disappearing in the storm of her own powers. But what if she somehow comes back after the death of her father? What if she gets reunited with her twin and what if the boy she thought she lost and who she used to have a crush on came back as well with the news of the nearing Apocalypse? They formed the Umbrella Academy. Elena Romero was a normal girl that hadn't discovered what, if anything, was extraordinary about her. The only thing worth noting is her amazing ability to suffer through hellish dates and live with an over-dramatic mother and an addict of a brother. Some could say her super power was making her dysfunctional family appear functional. She was the glue that held her family together, she was their remedy.
