Clary Morgenstern is your average teenage girl. Exceedingly beautiful, Terrifyingly intelligent, Tiringly introverted. Oh did I also mention that she is a Shadowhunter, trained and extremely ferocious and just happens to be the Circle's most lethal weapon? As a baby, her father Valentine, who is the leader of The Circle, experimented on Clary by injecting her with angel and demon blood. This made her incredibly powerful but also horrifyingly dangerous. One day Clary is sent to the Institute of New York for a unique assignment. Her task is to pose as a Clary Fray, a Shadowhunter whose entire family was killed in the uprising, little did anybody at the institute know, her family initiated the uprising. She is sent there with one mark. Jace Herondale, a boy who Valentine also experimented on but who was saved as a child and taken in at the Institute. Clary's sole mission is to infiltrate the Institute, get close to Jace, find out what he knows about The Circle, The Uprising and the experiments, and then simply take him out. To love is to destroy and to be loved is to be destroyed is what Clary has been brought up with her entire life, so what happens when Clary finds herself falling for her target?

Clary Fray is a fighter, or at least she has been ever since that night. The night that changed everything. Her life was almost taken out from under her but rather than let fear take control, she uses it to fuel her lust for revenge. She joins the Shadows of the Night, which is one of the two best fight clubs in NY. She has a plan: Be the best, never lose, feel nothing, and never go back to the girl she used to be. But what happens when the one man that can make her feel alive again turns out to not only be her rival, but the leader of Legends of the fall? Jace Wayland is the worst possible person Clary Fray could fall for but that doesn't stop her from tumbling into that golden abyss. Jace Wayland, the bad boy no girl could ever tame, has finally met his match. The second he laid eyes on the feisty red head he was mesmerized. Clary, the girl with the fiery red hair and fierce heart, is hypnotized by those golden eyes that seem to stare into her soul, but their journey won't be easy. Valentine will stop at nothing to ruin Clary's life and Jace is just another obstacle he must get rid of to make that happen. Will Valentine destroy everything his daughter holds dear? Will Clary take over Shadows of the night? Will Jace put her over his fighters? And who was behind the attack that fateful night? Clary has been through hell; will she ever be the same? Only time will tell. I do not own any rights to the TMI series this is just fanfiction.

The Dark War has been won, and Clary Fairchild believes her time to rest has come. This all changes one night during a regular patrol mission, where they encounter a peculiar situation, and an even more peculiar girl. At first glance, Ember Valenza seems to be nothing more than a dreadfully average mundane. The thought is all but destroyed the minute she is brought into the New York Institute. It is quickly discovered that she has the Sight, and she shows skills and abilities enough to rival a Shadowhunter's own. What's worse, she seems to know too much about the Shadow World, along with too much information about one of the Shadow World's greatest and recently-defeated enemies-Sebastian Morgenstern. It soon becomes clear that Ember Valenza is no ordinary mundane. Her harbored secrets are revealed, along with a hidden gift, and new questions arise as Ember strives to take her place among the Shadowhunters. Will she be worthy enough to drink from the Mortal Cup and Ascend? Only one thing is for sure: the Morgenstern name is not dead, and its legacy will live on even after the death of its presumed last heir. Will Ember be able to restore the abhorred Morgenstern name and save Jonathan's reputation? Is it a risk worth taking, a battle worthy enough to fight? Will Clary and the rest of the Heroes of The Dark War help her through her journey? BOOK #1 OF THE OF ANGELS AND DEMONS SERIES
