Little Heart, Keep Beating

Diem Lopez, lived a normal life since birth until yesterday 17 years ago. She has normal IQ, she is not too pretty and not too ugly, she and her family lived a comfortable life in the mid-class of society, she would fondly call herself 'Goldilocks' - everything was just right.

There were only 5 things that Ate Diem valued the most:
-Love for everything
-Heart, the literal and figurative
-Words
-Family
-Her Diary (which I hold close to my heart every time I sleep)

She always thought she was 'THE ordinary girl' and the only thing that sets her apart in 'THE extraordinary world' are her words.

On that night, yesterday, 31st of June. She was told she'd die and she just said softly, "Little heart, keep beating. My mission's not yet done. I am not yet special."

She never knew that she already was. For all of us, Mama Fe, Papa Deng, Kuya Carpe, Tonya, Sandro, Luis, and me - Seize.

You are special to me, Ate. The girl you told "Be the person you wish to become, carpe diem, seize the day."
