~"I am not a very patient man Mia, so I am only going to ask you this one more time." He
spoke calmly placing a few bullets into the magazine before loading it into the
pistol. With every step he took forward I backed away, accidentally cornering
myself in the small kitchenette of the motel room. When he finally reached me
he chuckled clicking the safety off the gun he cocked it back. The thick silence in the room was sliced by the the unmistakable
sound of a bullet entering the barrel. 

Quick Mia think, remember what Gage said use your surroundings. Quickly I glanced around
me looking for any type of weapon I could use, eyes finally landing on one. 

"Where is 1023?" I closed my eyes taking a deep shaky breath. I looked up at the
intimidating man before me my eyes watery, lip trembling, as if I was afraid of
him. 

"H-he's in the bathroom..." I muttered quietly in defeat pointing to the door behind us. As
he looked behind us I took my moment, grabbing the steaming glass coffee pot sitting
on the counter I swung smashing it across his face. I had seconds to grab the
gun before it hit the floor successfully shooting him in the foot. He cried out
in pain falling onto the floor holding his bloody burning face. I cocked the
gun back aiming at his knee; I pulled the trigger shattering his knee cap. Gage
busted out of the closet door a shit eating grin on his face. 

"You couldn't be more fucking perfect." He beamed cupping my face he kissed me passionately
for a moment before pulling away. "Let's get the fuck outta here." He said
grabbing my hand we sprinted from the motel room out to the Dodge.~
