Azriel Jacobs lives below the kingdom of Halcyon in The Undercroft, the lower levels of the castle. She and other Limits, or children born in Undercroft, all dream of leaving the working levels to witness they're beloved kingdom for themselves.
She would leave at night and walk to the upper levels of the palace alone, but getting caught could put her life on the line. Azriel must test her own values throughout her journey to make it out of the Undercroft, and into the light, to become limitless.
