Today's night was different. Unlike other nights of the previous week, it was quite as if holding back it's breath. A silent promise of an unannounced arcanum ahead. Fog was pressing in on the soul-lifter, Zayn, who was striding without so much as care for getting seen by mortals, but that never worried him, for no mortal could see him.

 

The sudden thing that collided to his chest broke his determined stride and reflexively, his arms caught it. It was a tipsy blue eyed girl. That was the only thing that caught his eyes initially.

"Beautiful." She whispered as her eyes were nowhere but on his face and, finally, that word broke the spell. Zayn immediately let her go. 

"She could see me.This sure as hell is an arcane night."
