After leaving Camp Half-Blood last summer with her enemy, Luke Castellan, Clarianna Sinclair has played a dangerous game of deception, viciously climbing up the ranks of Kronos' army. Her secret has been kept safe despite the suspicious monsters and none other than her newfound siblings. Wreaking internal havoc among Luke's allies and secretly turning demigods loyalty from Kronos to her, all of her plans are in perfect motion. However, secrets are swimming underneath her path with devious ploys from Kronos and devastating revelations from none other than her own mother. A single misstep could doom her and Western Civilization, but the slightest pull of a thread from her own allies could lead to betrayal. Disaster is imminent on her horizon with Hades' dire warning behind her and choices in her future. Her friendship and loyalty will be tested as both armies gather. Her strength challenged. ***I'm back. I know it's been two years. But I'm back. Officially not on hold anymore!! (I'm so sorry) *** Some people keep secrets to protect others. Some people lie to do the same. The victims always say they would rather hear the truth, the buried secrets, than be lied to. Because that's betrayal, isn't it? But what if the reasons for lies and secrets are necessary to protect those from themselves? What if, by telling a truth, one creates room FOR betrayal? What if the truth hurts more than the lie? *** It had never crossed Clarianna Sinclair's mind that her entire life might have been a lie. Sure, the gods didn't have a squeaky clean reputation, but she didn't think whatever they were hiding from her would be THAT bad. It was that bad. Worse, actually. And the thing was, the truth did hurt more than the lie. Because the prophecy revealed to her on the darkest day of the year was dark as hell and just as confusing. Half a year later, she still hadn't unravelled it. All she knew was that it was about her, the war, and the ominous promise of a last shadow. *** Luke knew that the truth hurt. It always did. But he also knew head one was the only way to face it. He also knew that betrayal was just part of the human character, and everyone betrayed and was betrayed eventually. Promises were made to be broken, after all. But he still wasn't prepared for it. He didn't expect it to come from the one person he thought he could trust. She had left him. Without a word, even after everything they'd gone through together. Without her, he was adrift in the vast sea with no tether to shore. No one other than the titan down in the pit, who, he was beginning to think, had been a mistake. A terrible mistake. But there was nothing he could do about it now, not when he was this deep, and certainly not when she wasn't here. Little did he know that, even when she came back, she wouldn't be the same girl who had left him.

Rewriting to improve writing. "Gods are born out of the need of humans but they shall die at the hands of the ones they've wronged." ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇ The world of demigods has never been a safe one, plagued by monsters, the wrath of gods, and the impending danger of death. One might often argue, 'How much worse can it get?' A lot worse, especially when one of their kind is out for blood - their blood. The motives are unknown, the end goal concealed under a veil. All that is known is their name: The θεοκτόνος. Y/n L/n was troubled, and she knew it well. She didn't have to be told by multiple teachers, foster parents, or even her old 'friends.' She was a rotten apple with a rotting core, an apple waiting to melt into poison and hurt everyone around them. Too tired to notice the changes around her, she tried telling her teachers about it. 'Schizophrenia,' they all say - the crazy girl who imagines her classmates attacking her, classmates who seem to vanish as soon as she stabs through them. There were moments, brief but chilling, where she couldn't recognize her own reflection. Luke Castellan, the returned prodigal camper of Camp Half-Blood, a person who turned halfway through his plan and returned to camp, one who was forgiven for his mistakes. The golden boy of Camp Half-Blood, the one trying to make everything better for himself and others, the cabin counselor of the Hermes cabin, the best swordsman in camp. Such parallels collide under a sky with an environment filled with fear and uncertainty. In such a situation, questions are bound to arise. Who is the God Killer, and what do they want? Is Luke Castellan a tragically manipulated hero or a cunning villain? Who among their friends is the one who is going to betray them? ༶•┈┈⛧┈♛ 18+, angst, mentions of triggering topics and violent scenes ahead. #1 in murdery mystery #1 in lukecastellanfanfic #6 in castellan #1 in Luke #2 in Pjofandom #4 in RickRiordan. #5 in pjofanfiction
