Bound By A Thread

In this world, when two dragons find each other, they become SoulMates. And a thread of energy connects them together. This energy is stronger depending how fiercely the SoulMates love each other. If they no longer love each other, their thread will start to crack and fade of color, until it snaps. BrokenHearts are outcasts to the others, and they suck up hate and depression and cruelty. And they soon lose themselves and feed on the happiness of others. They were all sentenced to death. IceHeart, of the ice dragon species, is nearing his twelfth birthday, the day he will have to leave his parents and find a Soulmate of his own. And Flurry, a feather dragon, with strange small wings and inability to fly, is looking for a Soulmate of her own. And when the two find their way to each other, chaos and destruction will follow soon in their footsteps.
