Ever since her real family died, she's felt lost, like she never really belonged anywhere, until she found the Samurai Rangers again. She finally feels as if she belongs, but if only all of the Nighlok could be defeated by her and her alone, without the rest of the team. Now, the three orphans live in an alien ship owned by a creature named Lothor who claims to have saved them from Watanabe when he killed their parents. Vera isn't too fond of their new guardian, but he allows them to use their ninja training whenever they want so she didn't complain much. However, when Vera is ordered to destroy three power rangers who are said to be 'protecting' Watanabe, she begins to change her mind about trusting Lothor, which creates a rift between her and her brothers.
