The ground Tom is standing on is slowly crumbling under his feet. He is starting to feel things he had never felt before. Depression, anxiety... all hard things to deal with. He doesn't want to bother Edd or Matt with his stupid problems, they had enough going on as it was. Tom only continued to spiral when Tord moved back into the household. Tom finally reaches a boiling point where he can't handle these emotions anymore. Tord can see the emotional pain Tom was going through, and slowly tried to break down his walls.
