The life-story of C. Ray Bryan, as told by himself. This series of anecdotes takes the reader across the U.S. in the 1930's, from small towns in Arkansas all the way to San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, with many unique adventures in between.

Ever wonder how America got built in the early 20th Century? Ray tells the story from the intimate perspective of a boy growing up in the shade of his multi-talented, and hard working (and alcoholic) dad.

Stories From Under A Bootheel (Rants, Laughs, and Tears)

53 parts Complete

Stories from another time and place to make you think, laugh, and possibly shed a tear. I know I did, but for me the stories are personal. This is for those who can appreciate the insanity of the world I was raised in. One should never judge the past by the standards of the present. Of course, that doesn't stop me from judging the present by the standards of the past. Age and a lifetime of hard-earned experience has earned me that privilege.
