eight years after pokemon ultimate journeys, ash now all grown up is returning home to kanto for his welcome home party and all his friends and possibly rivals are invited. serena has also been invited to join this celebration but is wondering ash is going to return her feelings since childhood. but their party is going to get crashed when an ancient evil is unwittingly awakened by team rocket and their leader team rocket. now it is up to ash and all his friends to unite for one final battle.
