The five groups of cats have (for the most part) lived peacefully under the Sun. Kestrelfur and Goldfur are two brothers who one day find a stray, half-starved she-cat and take her back to their pact.
Finchpaw's now in the middle of a world she doesn't understand surrounded by fighting, predators, and a kind of society she's never even considered. Just how is she supposed to get through it all? With some weird but good help from her new friends and time, of course!
Well, the time it takes until battle breaks out, that is.
(Set in Australia with some custom clans! Finchpaw is from the same sort of place as the original series. Please enjoy!)

(I recommend reading the actual Warriors series by Erin Hunter before reading this. This is just fan-fiction, however all of the characters are mine. Any resemblance in names to Erin's already existing characters is not intentional.) When twolegs drive the clans from the lake territory and force them to travel to new lands, they face new threats. ~A Fanfiction Inspired By Warriors~ Along with the four clans of the forest, there is a group of mediators that keep the peace between them. As they get older, the time grows nearer for them to choose successors who will receive their immortality which has been passed on to them by their own mentors. But this group is hiding something, and it is only a matter of time before it is revealed to the chosen successors. Petalwish is unsure if she really should be loyal to CliffClan. She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. Now he is faced with the difficult option of devoting his life to his clan or go back to becoming a kittypet when forest life gets too hard-what choice will he have to make next?
