Trinity Gilbert is the oldest of three cousins by two years. Her younger cousins are Elena, and Elena's brother Jeremy. Despite being older, people tended to gravitate towards Elena more. Even Trinity's own mother.
The only person person who was nice to her, was Matt Donavan. He seemed to be the only one who gave her a chance. They were best friends growing up. But as they got older, something changed. Trinity was left alone. A lot.
She managed to convince her mom to enroll her into a three year foreign exchange student program. She lived in France for three years. She thrived in France. She gained new friends who liked her for her, and learned a new language. She loved it so much, she finished her schooling in France. When she has to go back, she's filled with several emotions and worries.
Will she be able to be near her cousin without any hard feelings? Or will she hate her for something that's in the past?
