On a journey across the country to educate the masses in equality on all fronts, Ruby Stevens stumbles into a town famous only because of the books someone wrote a while ago. Ruby travels with her mother and dogs, they never stay long, but when she meets Travis Long; her life changes.
Travis Long is a normal guy, he plays video games, paints, and punches douchebags. Due to his traumatic childhood, he is standoffish and reserved to newcomers. People know him as the quiet type, but when Ruby comes into his little town and changes everything, people start viewing him differently.
