so I've read a few books just like this, but I'm gonna TRY to not make this horrible....*deep breath in and out* This is an AU where of which sans is a giant of course but for that reason and more is why he hasn't really been around much, but that changes when a human that can do magic, Cecilia Lilith finds him somewhere, someday (but the only characters are Cecilia and her siblings, Chara,and Frisk. I will add the other characters eventually)

Peace Doesn't Come After Death- Undertale AU Fanfic (Reborntale)
Monsters get reborn after death. Reborn monsters don't remember their past memories. They either turn into a demon or an angel based on their psychological state. The more pure the monster, the more holy they are. Same thing for the other one. When they have more darkness and pain the monster has before death, they have more power as demons and their tails are longer. An angel and demon being together meant that the demon is tricking and manipulating the angel. Papyrus became an angel after being sliced by the human, and Sans turned into a demon for his soul was full of anger, hate, vengeance, and regret. For some reason, Ink, the Creator and Protector of the Sans AUs, has decided that some of the Sanses of the Multiverse should go to highschool again. Honestly, no one really liked the idea, especially the Bad Sanses, including Ink's enemy, Error. Prince Nightmare is one of the AUs that must repeat these years of treachery. He basically only finished his actual highschool, and is NOT looking forward to having to do it again. Luckily his brother, Prince Dream, will be coming along the journey beside him. But Nightmare and Dream Are polar opposites, so Nightmare can't really get along with his brother's friends, nor Dream get along with Nightmare's, if he had any. With rules to follow and secrets to keep, Nightmare must go through highschool and not let slip the terrible things that happen at home. But then suddenly the two princes disappear. There's no trace as to who might've taken them, either. The only one that doesn't seem concerned is their own father, the king. King Sun-Beam. What is he hiding underneath all of those jewels and fake smiles? A/N: There is lemon/smut. So all you innocent people out there-- don't worry! There is a legend about two sisters. an older one, and a younger one. The sisters are both opposites, yet their also the same. They are known as the angel of darkness, and the demon of light. The older sister, the angel. And the younger sister, the demon. Both swore to protect the multiverse from harm, regardless as to what universe is in trouble. Legend says that one day, they will one day rise up in the darkener world, and save the worlds from eternal darkness. But, they can't do this alone. They need the help of three other people. A human, A monster, And a prince from the dark. Together, they can save the world. Or, in other words, Vixen gets bored of waiting for Ink to return from god knows where, so she and Chara go off to visit an old friend in the darkener world. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives.
