I know; not the most creative title in the universe, but it describes the function of this work. This collection will contain one shots and short stories that will most likely not turn into complete works, and if you choose to read on, you'll get a glimpse inside my interests, which extend past Harry Styles and One Direction.

Here I am yet again. I feel the beat of the music at my feet. It rushes up through my body giving me a pleasing feeling overcoming my body, I can feel it as I close my eyes and take in the environment without needing the view. My senses heightened, my conscious thoughts being subsided for the moment, and my body feeling on fire as if i'm above the world and I can see myself on a the outside looking in. This is the feeling. The feeling I crave and why I come back. I come back because its simple. 'The arena was huge. I mean, I knew this girl was famous, but this is as big as the stadiums I would play in during my One Direction days, and those were fucking enormous. I look out the window of the tented black vehicle I was in and see the hundreds of thousands of fans waiting outside, all dressed in skirts or dresses for the big event. "I told you Harry, this girl is huge." Frank speaks up from beside me, snapping me out of my stare. "I didn't have to come to one of her fucking shows to know that. I don't even know why I'm here." I mumble, rolling my eyes and looking out the window at the road that was moving fast beneath us. I didn't even want to be here, and if I am being honest I didn't even want to work with her. Yeah, her music is good and all, but she seems like fucking priss. I've watched a couple of her interviews, and she seems boring as hell. She had her son at 20 with the help of her grandparents and father of her son but no longer together because of his temper, and her parents died when she was just 5 in a car accident to a drunk driver so her life isn't easy. In general she is a stay at home body but she needs that to sort of change even if she's a mom and has responsibilities she wants to try and have fun for once. That being said she has to find a new job fast so when she finds one that makes very good pay she seriously has no idea what's about to hit her. At 27 Harry Styles the grumpy, dashing, mysterious man has it all, he's rich, ladies all over him, lives in a Penthouse in Manhattan, has two successful jobs, club owner and believe it or not a 1st grade teacher. He doesn't need to complain about life but sadly his childhood was so terrifying it scarred him forever, he'll always want to know what love feels like but he shelters himself because it's for the best. He tries to better himself starting in September, so he's getting ready for back to school night at Rockport Elementary where he teaches and he has no idea that this pacific night his entire life is about to be flipped upside down. DUALITY - the sequel to IT'S YOU! [Mature] *Please note: There will be spoilers for the first book from below onwards... You don't necessarily need to have read and finished IT'S YOU to understand DUALITY, but it will be more rewarding if you do. If you want a refresher, there's an index at the end of that book, summarising each chapter and the subsequent one shots too. Despite all the challenges, Harry and Eloise have had their busiest couple of years to date. With new movies, tours, an album, a beauty brand, writing, promotion, and - not least - parenthood, they've had a lot to contend with throughout the pandemic. Working together on one truly iconic project was supposed to help bring them closer, not risk bringing them to breaking point. Trying to balance their professional and personal lives is already hard enough when it's all played out in the public eye, but it proves harder still when the storyline seems to start blurring between the two. Pressure, competition, jealousy, coercion, manipulation, deception, guilt... With such high stakes, it's hard to know who to trust, especially when things turn out to be not quite what they seem. In the eye of the storm, it can be hard to keep a grasp on what's real, and what really matters, after all. Please note: This is intended as an exercise in character development and descriptive writing. "Why do you care?" he asks. But it's not soft. It's sharp, defensive, like he's already bracing for the answer. I want to tell him the truth. Because you saved me. Because you're the only one who makes me feel real. Because if you fall apart, I don't know what happens to the rest of us. Instead, I just say, "Maybe I want to understand." He scoffs, no humor in it. "You don't. Trust me." Silence stretches between us. Then he steps forward, close enough that I can see the way his hands won't stop shaking. "You already know too much," he says, voice low. "More than you ever should've." I don't look away. "Then tell me the rest." He shakes his head. "It's not your place. You don't get to ask." "But I am asking." He exhales sharply. "Jesus, Lily. This isn't a story with a clean ending. I'm not a mystery. I'm a goddamn warning sign. I'm dangerous." I flinch, but I don't move. And that pisses him off more. He takes a step back like he's going to leave, then pauses. His eyes flick to my jacket. In one quick motion, he reaches in and pulls out the burner phone. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him. Harry Styles is a name whispered like a warning, famous for his ink, infamous for everything else. Brooding. Untouchable. But Lily has a habit of looking too closely. I thought I was done finding me. I thought I was complete and that there was no more to do. But now I've lost myself, I'm incomplete. I've lost one of the most important things in my life, I've lost my life and everything about it. I guess I'm always going to be finding me.
