Snapping her head to the left, she saw a blue newspaper sign, holding black and white folded pages. Grabbing the first one she could reach, her eyes darted around the page in a furious attempt at finding the date.

"Asteria?" Arthur Weasley asked, in a believable imitation of concern.

"What-" Asteria started, though her voice came out in a hoarse rasp, "- year is it?"

Arthur lifted an eyebrow at her like he was worried for her mental state - which Asteria supposed he should be. 

"1992."

Asteria Griffiths grew up obsessed with the Harry Potter books. She, however, was past the age where she held any hope of magic being real. Leading what she believed to be a regular life working at her parent's cafe and running through the woods with her best friend in the year 2016, Asteria never thought her life could come completely undone by an emerald green necklace in her attic. 

One touch and she was transported back in time to 1992, surrounded by the characters she'd grown up loving. Quickly realizing that the events unfolding around her were exactly how they played out in the books she knew like the back of her hand, Asteria came up with a plan. Armed with just her old iPhone 7 and a WiFi signal charm that got the spottiest signal she's ever experienced, Asteria's got one mission: make it through the war while keeping the people she loves alive.
