Alex is a young girl, or more or less a fool, who carries on her way through the end of the world with 10k, his group, and her goddaughter Ana. For the longest while Alex was by herself, and one night she bumped into 10k in a not so nice way, but after that the two of them stood together hand in hand with Ana between them to protect as her own. Alex promises Ana to find her mother as soon as they get to 10k's group, but along the way they come across some terrible news that Alex nor 10k can tell the little girl. 

10k gets back to his group and gets to Cali things turn sour (It's a lil of a spoiler if you haven't finished the show) but of course no matter what happened to 10k, Alex still tries to keep Ana safe with Doc while still fighting for 10k, and well Murphy.... anyway!

Ana grows up learning things from Alex, Addy, and Roberta that her own mother likely wouldn't have told her

He looked down and I made him look at me by lifting his chin up with the top of my gun. My eyes widened and I said, softly, "Murphy?" He smiled, slightly, and said, "Hey, (Your Name). Long time no see." I lowered my weapon and I wrapped my arms around his neck, crying. I cried into his shoulder and I said, "I thought you were dead." He chuckled and said, "I thought you were too." I looked into those blue eyes of his and I kissed him, despite the bite mark on his torso, that I could feel through his shirt.
