Also no one has died in this universe yet, and everyone is on Alternia. (Except Humans)

Eridan lived on a boat all of his life, isolated from the rest of the trolls on the main land. He grew up lonely, reading history books was his only pass time. At the maturing age of 13, Blocked by society on Trollian. He didn't understand what he did, he just wanted socialization.

He wanted a conversation, just one would be nice. That's when he met her in person, someone like him. A sea-dweller. He made his first friend, even though she thought of him as more of a nuisance than a friend, but that didn't stop him from getting a flushed crush.

When trying to advance into a matespriteship, he was denied without even a good reason why. He was never told what he did, she just left him. Alone and confused.
