Karan is an ordinary boy living in Brooklyn, New York. Life is as normal as normal can be.
On his 17th birthday, his father surprises him and says that they are moving back to their roots, in India. A land of spiritualism, faith, and most importantly good food but, upon reaching his new home, Karan is pulled into a spiral as he discovers the deeper truths about his ancestry and his destiny.

Forces are out to get him, both good and bad as Karan is flung into a new world of magic, myths, and monsters as the concepts of reality and fiction seem to blend bringing forth a calamity so terrible, that it affects the whole world if let loose.

With an impossible task at hand, Karan sets out on an adventure that holds the key to, quite possibly, saving the whole of humanity
