The Running

Three elite teens are picked to compete in the Running. Neither one can afford to lose but only one can win.

Axel, a kid who comes from a line of victors of the Running needs to win for his family. He can't escape his reality anymore. He was trained and tutored his whole life to be in the challenges of the Running. However, he faces the Running against Camille, a teenage girl from one of the richest families in the Clusters. She is cunning and needs to win to gain popularity again with the townies in order to save her family from losing all of the riches that they have spent decades accumulating. She was never trained to win but she has never lost anything yet. Then there is Enzo, a teenage boy with nothing to lose but has everything to gain. His family wasn't fortunate and he was born in one of the towns outside of the Cluster. His dad worked all his life supplying for a watcher living in the Cluster. However, when their watcher died, he had no heirs to his riches and status. He left it all behind for his best friend and his best worker. Enzo's life changed in one day.
