Echo and Kian Haeream were the physical manifestation of balance. The twins kept the scales of the supernatural world even. They represented the good and the bad, the compassionate and the merciless, the wise and the foolish.
Hybrids were creatures that were not suppose to exist in the natural order, so the miracle birth of the twins had tipped the scales. In order to have lived they had to set the scales back, so they became the balance.
For sixteen years the twins kept the balance, but when they get a message from their uncle, calling them back to their home, will they keep the balance or will they tip over into chaos?

But Ethan left after everything was over. But none of us know where he went to. I miss Allison so much. She was like a sister to Me. I'm also a werewolf by the way. The only downside to it is I have blue eyes. Which has to mean I killed an innocent. It was my best friend. Her name was Emily. She was hurt badly in a car accident and it was determined she didn't have long left. So her, knowing I had these powers asked me to give her the bite. But I didn't want to because I was scared it would kill her. It could have gone one of two ways: It could have either killed her or cured her. I told her that because she was so weak it could kill her more than it could save her. But she didn't care and I gave it to her. I miss her so much. She's gone and it's all my fault. I've never forgiven myself. I am also the first of my kind in Beacon hills, a werewolf hybrid.
