note// it's been over a year since i've started this book, and a lot of it is very clunky. as the book progresses, the tone gets very noticeably different- this is purely just my feel and style of writing changing as i experiment. i'm still very inexperience, but the quality of this book does increase as it continues!

Semi-based of Anne Of Green Gables book series,
mainly 'Anne of the Island' and 'Anne of Avonlea' by L.M Montgomery

Lydia Eleanor Miller has spent her life searching for stability, never truly belonging anywhere-until the Barry family welcomes her into their home. Leaving behind the ghosts of her past, she travels to Avonlea, Prince Edward Island, alongside her best friend Anne Shirley, who has also found a new family. In this quiet town of rolling hills and close-knit traditions, Lydia hopes for a fresh start. But fitting in is easier said than done. Reserved and fiercely independent, Lydia struggles to open up, haunted by the fear of abandonment and the memories of the past she refuses to speak of. Despite her sharp mind and academic excellence, she keeps others at a distance, guarding her heart behind walls she has spent years building. Then there's Gilbert Blythe-witty, confident, and frustratingly charming. Their rivalry in the classroom is instant, a battle of intelligence and stubbornness that neither wants to lose. But as time passes, their playful competition transforms into something deeper, something Lydia isn't sure she's ready for. As she navigates friendship, love, and the echoes of a painful past, Lydia must decide if she will let her fears define her or if she will embrace the life she has always longed for. Because sometimes, a new beginning isn't just about where you are-it's about who you choose to become. I Happen to Have a Very Nice Fountain Pen - An AWAE Continuation

23 parts Complete

Season 4 AND 5! I can't stand the fact we wont (as for now) be having new episodes to look forward to so I've written my own version of how I would do it. This is based off of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and the Netflix adaptation Anne with an "E." I do not own anything!! I've tried my best to make it as similar to the writing of the show and characters. I know I'm still a long shot off, but I didn't try to divert from the original lessons, tasks, morals, etc. I'd love some feedback on how to improve!
