John Laurens is a freshman at Columbia University studying Environmental Biology. He thinks that this year will be an exciting new start, away from South Carolina, in something he enjoys. He feels he'll have everything figured out.
That changes when he meets his roommate.

John Laurens: A boy who has lived in South Carolina until he was ten. Homeschool until his senior year of high school. He was finally being enrolled at King's College after attending NYU for a year. He was never very social and only had a few friends. Not to mention he was gay. Alexander Hamilton: Orphan and Carribean immigrant. His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys. *Completed History professor, John Laurens is teaching his first year since being transfered from South Carolina. "King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that. Alexander Hamilton comes from a smaller town in Jersey. He's used to the big city, but finds living on his own for the first time is proving easier said than done. Keeping up on school has never really been a problem for him, but distractions such as a complicated relation with a professor and a life that just can't seem to give him a break makes it a little harder than he had initially intended.Terminé
