1959, a 17 year old girl called Laura Weathersby has just moved to Liverpool with her mum. One day after school she meets one of the popular teddy boys in school.
Laura is quite shy and she feels uncomfortable around teddy boys and the other girls at school. She's always wanted to hide from everyone, but she made a promise. To try to be brave this year.
This story is about love, friendship, jealousy, trust, drama and finding oneself.
