Joey Parsons is normal, well compared to his friends he is. The siblings with a lost power and the girl with little power, those were them. Among his family he's known as the Boy-With-More-Power-Than-He-Can-Handle. He never bothered objecting, considering his hands sparked at the slightest change in emotion. He couldn't really complain either. He had it good, until the mystery around the dead Fairy of Fire starts unraveling, and he's roped in, realizing quickly too much power can be a bad thing if not controlled. Skylar Greenwood is weak. She's always known that. She was the half-human in the group. Her brother was lucky, getting normal powers and being relatively strong too. That was always the least of her worries at home though. Weak or strong, her powers were no help. It wasn't a problem until the sisters of the former Fairy of Fire attacked that she realized she had to get stronger. If not for herself, then to save her friends too. Jack Thorne is unnerved. He was never great at meeting new people, but it's not like he had a choice. Luckily his sister seemed more socially adapt than him, helping him to quickly make some new friends, but the peaceful life only lasted so long. He learned quickly that his powers were needed, searched for. He never thought he could be anything extraordinary, but now it seems like everyone's watching him, expecting more. How is he supposed to fulfill the public's expectations when he can't even save his friends from those who want what he has? Daisy Thorne is confident. A rare power belonging to only her and her brother? How could she ever be scared? She knew better than anyone how strong she could be, and she knew she could defend herself. She quickly learned that was never the point. When she finally realizes the downside of having a rare power, she also realizes it's hard protecting herself when her friends need her. Maybe she isn't as strong as she thought, or maybe the enemy is far too overpowered.
