During a vacation to Volterra Italy, a young boy named Kian Byers manages to find himself in the home of the Volturi; a royal family of vampires. There he meets a girl with blood red eyes who steals his heart, and causes him unspeakable pain. 

    The Volturi decide to keep him as a slave, until they have no use for him. Can he get Jane to see how much he cares for her before his time runs out? Or will his efforts be futile.

He'd take all the pain willingly, if he just could have a moment with her.
