noun: hero; a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

These words would remain engraved in Y/N's head as they went through years of vigorous training, attempting to strengthen their quirk. Due to their parents divorcing while Y/N was young, they had grown to be a fragile teenager with a heart of glass. Even with such a strong sand-based quirk, their persona was almost more frail than sand in another form. However, they were often capable of more than they let on.

After so much hard work and endless hours poured into shaping their body and their skills, Y/N would finally be able to attend their dream school: U.A.

Unlike a handful of teens, Y/N didnt exactly have a specific reason that they wanted to become a hero. It had almost been forced on them their entire lives. With two quirkless parents, it's a miracle Y/N's quirk ever manifested in the first place.

Now, they found themselves staring up at the gates to the school, their heart's beats sending shock waves of anxiety throughout them. Beyond these gates, what would happen to them? Would they leave the school in three years to become a pro hero or sidekick? Would they meet the love of their life-their soulmate? Or would tradgedy play a role in their time at the school too?

Allowing their lungs to expand beneath their skin, taking in a long, deep, breath--Y/N exhaled and headed through the main gate.
