Gerard can't control his tears either as he feels his heart drop into his stomach. He's in shock and doesn't know how to respond. He wants to make the situation better, but he doesn't know how to. He wants to take the pain away from his now fragile friend, and place it on himself. He makes no attempt to hide or wipe away the salt water dripping down his cheeks. This is a story that deserves his tears. Somewhere deep in his soul he knows this isn't the end to the story. Frank had said they were hurt. Something else is wrong with Carson, something so wrong they can't be by themself.
"I- I don't even know what to say, holy shit," Gerard quietly speaks. He looks up at Frank, who's finally letting everything out and know there's worse to come. "But what happened to Carson, how'd they get hurt? Are they okay?"

Following multiple devastating events, Carson has no clue how to continue on. Their long time best friend, Frank, is left to pick up the pieces and try to bring back his best friend. Gerard wants nothing more than to understand what's going on and to help however he can.
