The Broken Promise

In a world where the Yakuza can easily be the best of your allies or the worst of your enemies, lies Ichiban Kasuga, an ex-yakuza, who becomes a hero of his new home in Ijincho, Yokohama. After narrowly escaping the brink of what would be his last breath from a betrayal of his own boss. Thanks to a particular stranger, who had managed to save his life that night. Where he was able to find a new purpose and fought to keep the city safe from the Omi Alliance. But of course, like many tales of the Yakuza, things have only gotten complicated after finding out that the boss of the Tojo Clan that he once called home, Masumi Arakawa, is actually his real biological father. But sadly, before he could get the answers that he needed, Masumi tragically fell in front of him. Along with what would be Masumi's son, Masato Arakawa. Before further details debunked this claim with proof that Jo Sawashiro, was Masato's real father.

And things since then, have not been much the same. But at least for what it's worth, the town of Ijincho was finally safe with the down fall of Omi Alliance. With Ichiban, now able to have some peace and closure from the many other questions in his journey. Along with a group of people he can call his true friends in the community. However, it was far from over with Ichiban and his friends. As many figures of his past had suddenly broke their way into the city, placing everyone had ever loved in danger. Including Nanba, whose deepened connection to Ichiban, was only just the beginning of the many feelings that Ichiban has yet to understand. A best friend, who has always been by his side. A certain someone, who has made Ichiban the only hero that he is always meant to be.
