You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. The Hidden Truth (A Destiny Fanfiction)
Ezekiel (Zero) lived alone with his sister, Maya for most of his life. Living in poverty, they did not have to opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of the Golden Age, which was graciously provided to them by the Traveler. However, after having fallen victim to the Collapse, they were both reawakened as Guardians. Forming the fireteam Hidden Power, with the help of a curious Exo Huntress and a sarcastic human Warlock, they fought to purge the Darkness in the name of the Traveler. ~~~ This was first video game fanfic. My obsession towards Destiny, and adoration towards the "Chronicles of a Warlock" series by @bad-juju inspired me to write my own fanfiction, and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I own most of the characters in this story but not the entire story (story belongs to Bungie), except a few sections of it. The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City.
