I ran as fast as my little fragile legs would let me, dodging in between trees as the wind blew past me, causing my long orange hair to blow around and tangle.
It crossed my mind a few times to look behind to see if he was still hunting me, but I knew deep down that he would never stop. So I kept running.

You're right, Abby. You did see me. I've been showing up there a lot. Just to catch a glimpse of you. And until yesterday I've had no luck." I brush my hands along the clothes hanging as I walk closer to her. "So I sat there for an hour just to watch you. It was the best hour of therapy I've ever had." I take the nightgown from her hand, debating on whether I should put it on her or throw it to the ground. "Jackson" She whispers my name like a prayer. I close my eyes and rest my head against hers. "Say it again, Please." "Jackson" Her voice still breathy. Letting the garment drop to the floor i hold her hips. "You're mine Abigail. Do you understand? I'll never be able to let you go." "Then don't Jax." Abby's future brother in law assigns his cousin, and head of security Jackson; to be her personal bodyguard. She wants him to be more than that. Her sister Celeste wants her to find the love of her life-as long as it isn't Jackson. And all Jackson wants is Abbigail. {Re-written version} Jade isn't just a good assassin-she's the best. She's seen it all, done it all and doesn't get rattled easily Except when she's told she has to kill the most feared mob boss of the century- Silas Andreeva But what she doesn't know is that this is all a ploy for Silas to test Jade's capabilities. But it isn't just about a test, is it?-it's personal. Silas isn't just looking for a killer; he's drawn to her specifically. It starts with respect-admiration for her skill, the way she doesn't flinch under pressure. But then? It gets messy. Once recruited, a dangerous tension builds. Every conversation, every moment is a push and pull between an assassin and the man who should be her target. Jade and Silas are equals. She's the best assassin out there, and he's the kind of man crazy enough to invite his death just to see if she's worth his time. Neither of them fully trusts the other... but that just makes things hotter. "Am I falling for him, or is this just another game?" "Did I set this up to test her... or because I wanted to keep her close?" They should be enemies. They should walk away. But neither of them does. Because deep down, they know-this is the most fun they've had in a long time. This is the kind of love story that simmers-slow burns with tension so thick it's practically crackling. Every interaction is a game of cat and mouse, but neither of them is sure **who's who. And the best part? They both know it's dangerous. They just don't care.

The Girl Who Was Buried In Her Ball Gown

7 parts Complete Mature

After one of the best evenings of her life, at the junior high school ball, a young girl experiences her first and only kiss. During the awkward moment, something goes terribly wrong and her life is turned upside down, severing her from the usual humdrum of a teenage girl and hurling her into the world of the paranormal. Who can she trust, where can she turn? And what is it with this 'other girl' that has befriended her in this foreign place? Why is this impostor leading her to places she does not want to go and pretending to be someone that she is not? As the young girl drifts unknown paths, she begins to unravel the mysteries, learns of new threats she could not predict and finds herself in situations that cannot be controlled. She discovers these unpredictable threats can cross both lines, creating havoc wherever they appear. Will she find all the answers and pick up the pieces, or will she be lost in this oblivion forever? **N.B. This will be published very soon so, if you want to be one of my honoured Pre-Published review team members, then message me and I will send you the fully re-edited manuscript, prior to it being published, so you can do a fantastical review on the live, published version for me (on amazon, goodreads etc,).
