Amber's ordinary in every way. Or, at least, that's what she thought. Amber and four others are told they must learn to harness strange and dangerous abilities in order to defeat an evil man named Marias. But Marias is only the beginning and soon Amber finds herself in the middle of a centuries-old conspiracy that could mean the end of the world as she knows it.
The only thing Sam wants is to escape his past. For him, this is the only way out. One thing leads to another, and now, with blood on his hands, Sam and his friends are running for their lives, and the old adage proves true... everything you do catches up to you in the end...
