Jocelynn Lupin, grandaughter of members of the Order of the Phoenix and Metamorphmagus, is starting the year with a lot of pressure on her back. She's worried and confused when her close friend and cousin, Maddox Malfoy, stops talking to her and spends all this time locked in his room and muttering under his breath. Hagrid and the other professors are worried about the multiple long-distance attempts to reopen the Chamber of Secrets. But when she tells her friends about her suspicions, Oscar avoids her, Maverick squeals and runs away, and even her father, Professor Teddy Lupin, doesn't put faith into her theory. Please, bear in mind that English's not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or errors. 3. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced. Basically, it's just another 'fanfic' to complement my therapy sessions. LOL
