The heart on bakugos wrist is usually blue and grey. He doesnt want to reach out to his soulmate because he believes that they wont love him for him, just because the universe tells them they have to.
The heart on kirishimas wrist is usually red and yellow. He has never contacted his soulmate because he feels like he wouldnt be good enough for them and he doesn't want to be a burden.

Okay, so this is another soulmate AU. Surprise surprise. It's the soul string AU, where everyone has a magical string tied to their ring finger. The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about.
