Tension (A Sad Short Story)

Being a teenager is tough, especially if you have a complicated lifestyle. When your only supporter in life seems to have abandoned you (your best friend), your family being more dysfunctional than ever, and your differences making you practically a different species it seems, your life can become a living hell. For me, coping was easy. I just kept all my emotions inside me my entire life. I knew I was good at lying, acting like everything was perfectly normal, so nobody ever noticed how I really felt about this whole situation. But at this time in my life, the pain was about to boil over, reveal my inner most darkest secret.
And it's scaring me. I'm scaring myself.
