While these 4 get the most attention at first, it quickly becomes clear who the real gem of the class is.

One of the students, Sarys Iskaldsen, is unlike anything seen before. A master of seemingly all forms of combat, on a level not seen since a great disaster years ago. Knowledgeable of things he should have no way of knowing, and working with all who will help him, casting the typical morality expected of a hero away whenever needed. An absolute refusal to call himself a hero, despite his enrollment in Japan's most prestigious heroics academy.

And strangest of all, he legally does not exist. There are next to no records of him anywhere, and no one anywhere has any info about where he came from. Even more, DNA tests result in a 3 year old Norwegian boy with a different name who went missing in the snow nearly a decade and a half ago.

Book 1 of the Winterblood Series. No major ships, just an OC I've been working on for several years, and heavy thematic elements tied to him later on.
Hella violent, with a dark, pseudo-edgy, powerful but not outright OP, OC protagonist.
