A sad smile crossed across his usually expressionless face. "I wish I was," he took a step closer towards me. Through my veins , I could feel the tingling sensation I kept getting whenever I got angry or scared. Loki must have sensed it, as his eyes widened - and that terrified me.

Lights around us started flickering rapidly, then before I could even react, he grabbed hold of my wrist. A calm, soothing feeling flowed into me.

"You really need to stop freaking out around me," he spoke quietly. "You're gonna get yourself hurt, and there's only so much an Angel can do."
