The Unspoken One by StellaBloom_09_
48 parts Ongoing Mature
They called her the Mad One long before she ever broke. Born into the Night Court with the mark of the Cauldron glowing faintly over her heart, Nerai was never meant to survive. Her father's cruelty forged her power; his torment made her silence infamous. By five, she could command air with a glance. By six, she'd accidentally killed ten courtiers who mocked her mother. By ten, her name was spoken only in whispers - a warning to children of what happened when gods answered too loudly. But Nerai was not mad. She was merely awake. And when war came for her family, it was not death that claimed her - it was the Cauldron itself. Drawn into its depths, her body vanished, her memories stripped away. The Night Court mourned a daughter lost to legend. Centuries later, Prythian trembles. Magic fractures, and silence spreads like a sickness across the courts. The whispers begin again: the Mad One walks. A woman with white hair and silver eyes emerges from the ruins of a forgotten temple - calm, otherworldly, powerful enough to unmake reality with a thought. She does not remember who she was. But the Cauldron does. When Rhysand sends Azriel to trace the strange magic devouring the land, he finds what no one believed possible - the High Lord's sister, alive, unaging, and changed into something beyond mortal or fae. And as the world begins to unravel, one truth becomes clear: the Mad One has returned, and this time, even silence may not save them.

Awoken in a new body, a star is surrounded by a world that she has to learn to manage, in order to survive. A world that she helped stitch together in the first place. The star fights tooth and nail every day, heartbroken. Never again to see her true family. Until her mate and her lock eyes, and everything makes sense once again. Or when, Penelope is the one to fight the war, in order to get back home to Odysseus. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: (Book 1 of 2 in the Heaven series) *✧・゚: *✧・゚: The soft click of heels was the only thing heard in the House of Wind. The silence was much needed for Soraya after a night of partying with her family. The Fate had kissed her mate on the cheek and told him she was leaving for the night. He had asked her if she wanted him to join her, clutching her hand securely, but Soraya shook her head softly. The High Lord had watched her leave, with a faltering smile on his face. Soraya opened the heavy double doors to her and Rhysand's private balcony. The air was warm as she watched people dance across the cobbled streets of Velaris. Fireworks went off every few moments, the people celebrating the highly awaited return of their High Lady. Yet Soraya couldn't find the joy in her soul. She took off her heels and laid her head to rest on the decorated railing. Looking above the colorful explosions, Soraya's eyes found three stars. Two shining brightly, one dimmed to the point she almost had to squint to see. It tore a bit of her soul in two, feeling it right in her chest. "What do I do now, sisters?" Soraya asked breathlessly, eyes closing in frustration. And for the first time in years, the Fate let a single tear fall down her cheek.

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: Warning: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent, with long-winded introspection and a major, major slowburn romance. Read at your own risk lol. Also if you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way.

42 parts Complete Mature

Eternal: (adj.) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning Athanasia never complained about her situation. She never felt like she had the right to. A random event leads her to befriend a small boy. A boy that she believed she would never see again. His situation was heartbreaking, she knew that there are others that are more unfortunate just like him. However, this one encounter changes everything she expected of herself, gave her freedom when the world only wants to swallow her up. --- "Why are you doing this? Why are you befriending me? Though we met five hundred years ago, why do you still bring me into your life? So much can happen in that many years but instead of staying with your friends or finding other things to do, you're with me. Why?" I ask again. Though I don't like being so forward, I can't help it. I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had. That's why I want to continue them-with you, Athy." --- Disclaimer: All ACOTAR characters and plot belong to Sarah J. Maas. My characters and scenes are my own work.
