After vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural and mythical creature were found to exist on Earth, humans decided to, for the most part, coexist alongside them peacefully. Of course, in some countries there is war, and discrimination, but the UK has always been peaceful.
Police departments across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have developed 'Paranormal Crime' units, often a team of five different paranatural creatures. These units deal with solving the rise in paranormal crimes occurring in the modern world.
The most famous of these units is the 'Purple Diamonds', so dubbed due to their leader's symbol. This team consists of a Shapeshifter, a member of the race of wooden people known as the Saplings, a rare Daylighter vampire, a Lycanthrope, and a Halfborn.
Halfborns are the rare offspring of demons and humans. They keep to themselves up in the Himalayas, only appearing in other areas rarely. Aelfrun is one of the few who feel the need for a change of scenery.
Follow Aelfrun and their team as they solve crimes and discover a bigger problem in the Paranormal underworld.
