In a world with a secret society blessed by the almighty Olympian gods, and goddesses; everything is magical. In what the rest of the world calls Europe the Olympians created, and gifted four masses of people. The Aere were gifted control over the air by Zeus, King of the skies. The igneos were gifted control over flame by Hestia. Goddess of fire, and family. The Eros were gifted control over nature by Demeter. Goddess of Harvest, and Fertility. The Rivule were gifted control over the headwaters by Posidion. God of the sea.
Everyone who was gifted a power was categorized into these four factions. Anyone found with more than one is immediately executed. Unless you are a Royal. The Royals have all four elements and rule over the secret society as a whole. The messenger God Hermes foretold a prophecy that a twenty-two year old girl will rise above the rest and be blessed with three of the four elements. Air, nature, and the last commoner of the extinct race...flame.
The igneos were erased from the history books when the Rivule went to war. The Rivule claimed victory when all igneos men and women fell. It was a sad day losing the eternal flame, but the best for the Rivule. Now the Rivule had no one to truly challenge their superiority.

The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. Four people to help control the world's balance with their element. These four people are chosen from birth. Fire is strong and confident, yet badly tempered. Air is free-spirited, often a dancer who likes gossip. Earth is stubborn and greatly built. A great debater. Water is calm and graceful. If you mess with them though they can be worse than fire. Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.

Long gone are the ancient Greek Gods. The elements long for their revival, and now the powers of the old gods return. A regular family man has been chosen to receive the powers of Poseidon, control over water, but now he is being hunted by the hidden factions of the world, one aiming to keep him locked away from the rest of the world, the other aiming to destroy him. The newly chosen Poseidon must survive these forces all while trying to keep his family safe. This is a story I drafted in a book when I was 13, I finished it a few years ago and wanted to put it here.
