Lan Sizhui was the perfect role model for the new generation of GusuLan disciples. Rumours foretold that he was only third to HanGuang-Jun, who'd been famous for making love with the infamous Yiling Patriarch, Wei Wuxian. But more importantly, the new role model was undoubtedly calm, just like all the previous role models.
Sizhui never lost his cool, and had the most irresistible face from all the young handsome men in GusuLan. Furthermore, at his debut, he became Lan Qiren's new favourite disciple, unquestionably enough.
He was the perfect cultivating gentlemen. He was fine, yes, fine indeed. BUT, one tsundere-like male cultivator had to differ.
And that cultivator was Jin RuLan, otherwise known as Jin Ling-the younger version of the Jiang sect's leader, Jiang Cheng. He was known for spouting utter nonsense at people he despised, such as breaking their legs and feeding them to his dog, Fairy. If there was any person he'd choose to feed to his dog, it'd be Lan Sizhui.
Jin Ling liked to think of them as arched nemesis', but never got the courage to admit it. Albeit everyone thought of Jin Ling as nothing more than a nuisance, Sizhui had found subtle interest in the troublesome cultivator.
They met at the Cloud Recesses for a new session of learning with Lan Qiren, with many cultivators from different sects joining to become more skilled. At first sight, Sizhui was hooked onto the troublemaker, and his curiosity couldn't fly any higher. What would happen if their relationship of arched nemesis' evolved? And it was something greater than ever?
