I used to think there'd be no living without you. Then, you walked away. Like it was the easiest thing in the world. We finally stopped making sense to you. So, you left. Why wouldn't you. As a result of the tragic death of her father; Heaven Foster's life has mouldered into a exasperating cycle of moving from one home to another. Consequently, not staying in a house for more than a year means having to move schools more times than a typical seventeen year old girl should. Heaven is used to blending in with the crowd, so that she can be unnoticed by people, but being unnoticed while you're the new student of Lakeswood high school is not that easy.
