Nora is enemies with her own family. It's been that way for a while, but not like this. Now, they want her dead. Not to mention that ever since the Board killed the rest of Ander's family, he's been randomly going crazy and killing people. Nora doesn't want to worry him more by expressing her concern, but she's scared, and there are even bigger problems at hand. Her father is one of the best bounty hunters the Board has, and he's got no bigger bounty than Nora and Ander themselves.
Ander is afraid. Afraid of keeping secrets. Afraid of revealing them. Necromicon is back. Ander can't seem to get rid of the book of the dead. On the run, with few places to hid, perhaps he might have to use the book after all. And there is also the curse he bears in the Phantom Realm. Ander knows what he did wrong, but if he had to suffer for it, he wouldn't want Nora to suffer the same fate.

For the most part, they are civil with each other. However, the former U.S. has been cut off from the rest of the world. The boarders to Mexico and Canada have been closed indefinitely and are heavily patrolled by the surrounding kingdoms. The other continents are progressing while the former U.S. tries to fix itself. In the war of 2015, the world was introduced to supernatural powers. It was found that more and more children around the world could do things that others couldn't even understand. Those children were researched and studied. Doctors all over the world tried to understand what made these kids the way they are. What changed in their DNA that gave them these powers? These kids were labeled special and were very revered. Andeline Masters is one of those children. She is also the daughter of the murdered King and Queen of the 1st kingdom. Her uncle, who now rules, abuses her powers and is slowly ruining the kingdom, bringing the other 7 down with him. Can Andeline save the kingdoms by following the directions of a Goddess she no longer believes in? She's been struggling with a hole in her life, the loss of someone she cared about, someone who's been gone for far too long. Desperate for answers and willing to do anything, Maya ends up making a deal. It's one of those things you hear about in hushed tones, something that sounds almost too unreal to be true, but she doesn't care. All she wants is for them to come back, and the cost? Well, she figures she'll deal with that later. But just as she's about to seal the deal, Leo shows up, like some kind of reluctant hero. He tries to save her, to break the bargain before it's too late, but his intervention backfires. The Scarlet Eyes & The Sonata Of Darkness ( Kurapika x Melody ) di logiedacat

What ever happened to Kurapika? He's been lost in a sea of revenge hoping to collect all of the scarlet eyes and return them to his brethren in a proper ritual. During this journey he's lost all contact with the outside world in fear that they could get in his way or be used against him. When faced with the fact that someone else has been collecting scarlet eyes he's unsure what to do until he loses an auction to the unknown auctioneer. Kurapika soon learns that this rival is in fact someone he knows, someone he's worked with, its Melody, one of his former co-workers, from the Nostrade family job. The two trade information and realize that Kurapika only needs 1 set of eyes left and that Melody needs to find a way to destroy the score for the Sonata of Darkness for good. The two decide to work together hoping that they will finish their jobs once and for all. This is my first fan fiction so I decided to do it off the not so popular duo of Kurapika and Melody. I really liked both other their backstories and thought it would be interesting to combine them into a story where they finally resolve their problems together. I don't own the characters just the story. I hope you enjoy reading :)
