Written in 2014 the storyline involves an almost crystal ball view of Putin's growing aggression towards Ukraine.  Mikhailya Groschev was born in the year 1952 in the Soviet Union controlled Ukraine.  Her father is an Astrophysicist and a Cosmonaut, her Mother a successful doctor.  Their family along with four other families is selected to participate in colonizing Mars at the time when America thinks it is winning the Space Race.  A new Element is discovered on Mars that turns the mission and Mikhailya's life upside down. The mission fails as the Mars colony is rapidly falling apart, an immediate evacuation is ordered and lives turn upside down.  Mikhailya's parents are cold-bloodily murdered and chaos ensues.
 	Once the crew makes their return journey to Earth the next adventure begins.  New characters are introduced and a chase across Europe from the Ukraine to Paris gets underway, the out of place Soviet teens must develop new allies while being weary of potential enemies.  Due to the stabilizing properties of the limited amount of the new element they bring back to Earth, it becomes a highly sought after prize.  There is espionage (NSA, KGB), kidnapping and a little romance too.  Determined to keep what remains of her family whole, Mikhailya finds herself tackling adversity and overcoming odds that seem nearly insurmountable, just when she thinks they are getting ahead they fall back and need to regroup.   The team gets separated and each group has their own hurdles to face as they adjust to the news of the USSR crumbling and nowhere to turn.  
Brother is pitted against brother, father against son and Mikhailya's family is caught in the middle.  Mikhailya's life is forever changed on her final mission to reunite her family.All Rights Reserved

She knew that that was the end. ...Or was it? Two weeks later she opens her eyes and finds out that she somehow got in a hospital. But when she looks around, something feels off... As she realises that the body isn't hers- at least not up until then. She is now a six year old girl named Kaisa Hämäläinen. She learns that Kaisa is an orphan who got into the hospital from the accident that caused her parents' death. She now has to adjust to her new life knowing that she is stuck in a child's body. And things only get more complicated from then when she finds out she has superpowers (definitely not a normal childhood experience) in quite an unpleasant way and gets kidnapped... A young man wakes up in the desert. The wreckage of an ambulance lies smashed against a boulder and charred to a crisp. By the stitches on his head and face, he assumes he was the patient. But why was an ambulance driving through a desert? Where was it supposed to take him? And what kind of accident was he involved in to be left with amnesia? He decides to follow along the predicted route the footfalls of the tires have left, until he finds himself before a giant military boneyard, in the middle of which there is a private jet camouflaged amongst the rusty dead planes. And a strange man waiting for him, who says he comes on behalf of the young man's older brother. As they both board the plane, although blinded by the amnesic haze of his brain trauma surrounding him before that strange context, the young man will recall one thing: for some reason, he hates his own brother.
