The Monarchs | ONEUS OT6 [HIATUS]

It is said that hundreds of years ago the Monarchs fled to the darkness to escape the sun god, Helios's wrath after they failed to protect the child that would save the humans from living in an eternal night. They were stripped of their powers and imprisoned in a chamber made of the shadowed remains of the sun chariot. The only way to regain their powers and escape was to drink the blood of the child's descendent they loved and tried so hard to protect. A curse bestowed upon the Monarchs by Helios himself.

Choi Seoyun. A girl on the run, who seeks the help of the Monarchs to free her kingdom from the holy knights. An order of knights that was first created hundreds of years ago to protect the Monarchs, before they became traitors to the kingdom. Unbeknownst to her, a meeting with the Monarchs is unpreventable.

With the return of the Monarchs, the long-forgotten plan of sending the world into eternal darkness is once again set in motion. The history that we've been taught since birth, about how the Monarchs fled when humanity needed them. Is it the real story? Or have we been lied to?
