Jane Muller, a lieutenant of the U.S army is forced to survive a pandemic that spreads across the United Nations. While waking from a six month coma, she realizes that everything around her has changed. Military had bombed most of the city's that had high infection levels along with a mysterious infection that practically wipes mankind off the face of the earth, by turning them into flesh eating savages beyond help. Not only that, but resources are scarce and those that are alive and surviving the pandemic are fending for themselves, and will not hesitate to kill if necessary. The world is now a dark and dangerous place where survival of the fittest is what counts. Jane must survive the pandemic with her skill and smart wits. Maybe along the line she'll find some things she didn't even know existed. Maybe she'll survive the pandemic or maybe, she won't.
