Summer after college when they first met.

JM, who has a strong personality and once dreamt to become a lawyer, suddenly met a broken-hearted man named Sky who had a 6 -year relationship with his Ex-girlfriend.

He was afraid of falling in love with someone who had a beautiful past.

He was afraid of getting hurt, being left behind.

He was afraid of giving chances.

How can JM overcome that fear? Will Sky help her and still ask for more chances?

Twenty Dollars-Worth of Love

19 parts Complete

"It all started with a simple bet. I never thought that a tiny piece of paper would change my entire life." As eighteen-year-old Sky Dunbroch struggles to survive her senior year, she has somewhat vowed to herself never to fall in love again due to a failed past relationship. But once she meets and unbelievably gorgeous ego-centric guy (whom she almost killed) everything seems to be turned against her will. Winning the bet was one thing, but losing it was definitely the other way around. Will Sky be able to follow her don't-fall-in-love mantra, or will this guy be able to get under her skin and make her fall in love again? This is my first attempt on writing my own novel, hence: too many plotholes, undecided characters' characters, no absolute direction of what's going to happen next, and the likes. Nevertheless, you can check out my other stories that are, hopefully, (way) better than this one. Thanks!
